2001 Annual Business MeetingThe 2001 Annual Business Meeting was called to order by Jeff Crowe, Chairman, at 3 PM at the Fencing Institute of Texas. Representatives from Dallas Fencers Club, Fencing Institute of Texas, La Touché Fencing Club, Lone Star Fencing Club, Renaissance Fencing Club and University of Texas Fencing Club were present. Members carried a total of 78 proxies. Minutes from 2000 Annual Meeting had been posted on the internet and were accepted as posted. Treasurer's Report stated we had purchased three Eigertek electric scoring boxes and one set of reels and floor cords; awards for Junior Olympics and Summer National Qualifiers; and one year of storage for Division equipment. Additional expenses included Division mailing and photocopying of Division flyers. The balance is $526.19. Treasurer's Report was accepted. Armorer's Report stated we have four complete strips in excellent to good condition at present, with an additional two complete strips in good to fair condition. La Touché FC, Lone Star FC, Baylor FC have requested strips. Several others have expressed interest, but have not submitted a request. Helen Mitchell presented the Nominating Committee's Report. Jeanne Bass nominated Waldek Czaja as the St. Mark's Representative; Dan Northcut was nominated by committee. This was the only contested position. A vote was taken and Dan Northcut was elected St. Mark's Representative. The remainder of the slate was elected by unanimous decision:
